Do fans have to pay to request a song?+
It depends on how you set it up. droprq supports both optional tips and required-tip mode, so you can choose the flow that fits your crowd.
Do fans need an app or account?+
No. Fans scan your QR code and complete the request flow in the browser, which keeps the moment fast on the floor.
Can I still reject requests?+
Yes. You decide what gets played. Accept the requests that fit the room, dismiss the ones that do not, and stay in control of the set.
How do payouts work?+
droprq uses Stripe Connect for payouts. Connect your Stripe account once, then track session earnings and payout history from your dashboard.
What does it cost?+
Fans pay the request tip plus a 10% + $0.50 service fee. DJs keep 100% of tips, and payouts run through Stripe Connect.
